From container to real cost, without a single spreadsheet.
MKA follows every shipment from the foreign-currency purchase order to the final settlement: exchange rate per document, expenses and customs declaration allocated to the cent, landed cost in the warehouse, and wholesale with the right margin.
What your business lives with today
- Landed cost is built in Excel weeks after the goods were already sold.
- Every document has a different exchange rate and nobody knows which one was used.
- Freight, customs broker and the customs declaration arrive late, and the margin you calculated is no longer real.
- Goods in transit and supplier advances are tracked from memory.

“We used to learn a container’s cost three weeks after selling it. Now every freight, insurance and DIM goes into the file and the landed cost is ready when the goods arrive.”
FAQ
How is landed cost calculated?
By adding the folder’s expenses (freight, insurance, broker and the customs duties that are cost) to the FOB value, allocated by the basis you choose per concept: value, weight, volume, quantity, tariff code or manual. Import VAT goes to tax credit, not cost.
Can I sell before all expenses are in?
Yes. Goods enter at a provisional cost and sell normally. On settlement, the difference adjusts remaining stock and the already-sold part goes to cost of sales.
Can I know what it will cost before placing the order?
Yes. The Imports simulator estimates taxes, landed cost and sale margin without creating a folder, in Bs, USD or EUR, with expenses as a % of FOB and courier tiered rates. You print it as A4 or PDF, or load it into a folder as estimated expenses. The actual assessment is still the customs declaration.
Is the module included?
Imports is turned on per company when you need it. During implementation, the folder’s accounts are mapped to your chart of accounts.
