MKA for construction companies

Bill every bit of progress and know whether the job makes money.

Schedule with critical path and earned value, quantities and progress billings with statuses, contracts with guarantees, site petty cash reported, equipment with its maintenance and budget versus actuals, all by cost center.

What your business lives with today

  • The progress billing is built in Excel and every review changes the numbers.
  • You find out about the overrun when the job is already finished.
  • A guarantee bond expires and nobody notices until it’s too late.
  • Site petty cash is reported in paper envelopes weeks later.

Budget

It’s built by scenarios and versions and then compared against actuals automatically.

Budgeting

Try it right here

From the site manager’s quantities to the paid billing.

Supervision approves or rejects quantities, the certificate updates instantly and the expiring guarantee stays in view.

Try it right here

Log the week’s progress and watch the S-curve.

Approve overtime and watch the CPI drop and the EAC show the overrun before it arrives.

Try it right here

Site petty cash, reported from the phone.

The receipt is photographed, accounting processes or returns it with a reason, and the fund is replenished only for what was approved.

Try it right here

Depreciate your equipment and vehicles at month-end.

Preview each asset’s charge without posting anything, a run that updates net value, and a reversal if something doesn’t add up.

FAQ

Do I have to enter items by hand?

Not necessarily: the progress billing can be imported from a CSV.

Can I void an approved progress billing?

Yes, the billing has a void status and the change is recorded.

Is the baseline drawn on the Gantt?

The baseline is used for earned value analysis (S-curve, CPI and SPI); the Gantt shows the current plan with its critical path.
