Kitchen display (KDS)

Never let an order get forgotten in the kitchen.

A kitchen display for fast food, restaurants and coffee shops. Orders reach each station, the color warns how long they’ve been waiting and the cook clears them with a "bump". When the order is ready, the POS till gets a sound alert to hand it over.

Without MKA

  • Paper tickets get misplaced, wet or misread.
  • At peak time nobody can see which order has been waiting the longest.
  • The cashier has to go ask the kitchen whether the order is out yet.

Try it right here

Clear orders in the kitchen and watch the alert reach the till.

On the left, the kitchen display with orders by station; move the clock ahead and watch them turn from green to amber to red. On the right, the till: when an order is ready the alert sounds, and Table 4 shows up with its "take-away" tag. "Watch it run" plays it by itself.

Benefits

Why Kitchen display (KDS) in MKA

Orders by station

Grill, drinks or fryer see only what they need to prepare.

Color by waiting time

Each order changes color as it waits, so late ones are handled first.

Clear with a "bump"

One tap marks the order as ready and clears it from the screen.

Sound alert at the till

When the order is ready, the POS beeps and the cashier hands it over.

"Take-away" at a glance

The till sees which table orders are take-away, so they’re packed without asking.
