Maintenance

Fewer stopped machines, more maintenance on time.

Preventive plans triggered by calendar, by meter reading or by both. Work orders with spare parts from the warehouse, photo and signature evidence, and a labor cost that freezes on close. With an ISO 14224 failure taxonomy to know what breaks and why.

Without MKA

  • Preventive work depends on someone remembering the equipment hours.
  • You don’t know what each machine truly costs to maintain.
  • The same failure keeps coming back and nobody sees it coming.

Try it right here

From the hour meter to a preventive order closed on the technician’s phone.

The maintenance supervisor enters readings (a lower one is rejected), the plan comes due by meter and the WO is generated with one button. On the technician’s phone the WO is carried out: checklist, warehouse parts, before-and-after photos, signature and acceptance. "Watch it run" plays it for you.

Benefits

Why Maintenance in MKA

Preventive by usage or date

Plans by CALENDAR, METER or BOTH; the next due date anchors on the due date, not on when the work was done.

Asset tree with costs

Plant, area, line, machine and component, up to 20 levels, with own and rolled-up costs.

Repeat failures in plain sight

Mode, cause and action per ISO 14224, with Pareto charts and recurring-failure detection.

Exact labor cost

Technician, specialty or global rate in cascade, frozen when the order closes.

SLA by priority and criticality

Response and resolution deadlines fixed at creation, with an overdue and due-soon board.

Evidence that backs it up

Before-and-after photos, signature and customer acceptance on every order.

In detail

Everything included

Preventive

  • Plans by CALENDAR, METER or BOTH
  • Readings that only go up, except declared meter replacement
  • Back-dated entry and bulk import of readings
  • Next due date anchored on the due date
  • Automatic preventive scheduler (off by default)

Assets

  • Hierarchy plant > area > line > machine > component, up to 20 levels
  • Own and rolled-up cost per node
  • Asset criticality for the SLA

Work orders

  • Kanban, pivot and list views
  • Technician assignment and materials from stock
  • Before/after photos, signature and customer acceptance
  • Labor cost cascading technician → specialty → global, frozen on close
  • Requests, inspections and scheduling

Failures and SLA

  • ISO 14224 taxonomy: mode, cause and action (~28 starter entries)
  • Pareto, recurring-failure detection and coverage warning
  • SLA policies by priority × criticality, deadlines fixed at creation
  • Overdue and due-soon board, plus dashboard widgets

FAQ

Are preventive orders generated automatically?

The system calculates when each plan is due, and there is an automatic scheduler that ships turned off so you decide when to enable it.

What if I replace a machine’s hour meter?

You declare the meter replacement and the new reading can start lower; outside that case, a lower reading is rejected.
