Inventory

Know what you have, where it is and who moved it.

Entries, exits and transfers between warehouses with justification and two-step approval, periods that close and a kardex that is never rewritten. When something goes wrong, it’s reversed with a trace, never deleted.

Without MKA

  • The system says 40 boxes, the shelf holds 25, and nobody knows since when.
  • Goods leave the central warehouse and “vanish” until the branch complains.
  • Fixing a mistake means deleting movements and losing the history.

Try it right here

Two people approve the transfer, each on their own phone.

On the left, the El Alto central warehouse lead’s phone; on the right, the Santa Cruz store manager’s; below, the kardex. He approves the outbound and goods go into transit; she approves the inbound on receipt. Then reverse it: a linked movement appears and the original is never deleted. Press “Watch it run” to see it play.

The purchase reception adds stock to the central warehouse, with lot when the product requires it.

Benefits

Why Inventory in MKA

Transfers with two-step control

The outbound leg is approved by the sender and the inbound leg by the receiver. Meanwhile goods sit in transit, visible to both.

Traced reversals

A wrong movement is reversed by another one linked to the original. Nothing is deleted, everything is auditable.

Closed stock periods

Close, reopen or lock periods with automatic balance carryover and a pre-check that the period can be closed.

Blind counts

Counters don’t see the system balance. Differences show up in a report, get approved and are adjusted by lot.

Per-warehouse permissions

Nobody operates a warehouse they weren’t assigned. Operator and approver/applicant roles enforced on the server.

Reports that answer

Physical kardex, rotation, min/max, balances by category or location and a multi-warehouse view.

FAQ

What if someone records an exit by mistake?

You reverse it. The reversal is a new movement linked to the original, so the kardex keeps both and auditors see who did it and when.

Can I stop a salesperson from moving stock in another warehouse?

Yes. Permissions are per warehouse and deny by default: if the user isn’t assigned to that warehouse, the server rejects the operation.

How do I load my opening stock?

With the importers for opening balances, movements and min/max, which also accept lots.
